

The Smoky Mountain Visitors Center in Townsend, TN will be hosting free exhibits in March featuring the work of Appalachian Artisans.
The exhibits will be open from 8 am to 5 pm.
From March 1-16, quilts created by the Foothills Quilters Guild of Maryville will be on display. The quilts will be representative of the traditional Appalachian style of craftsmanship.
From March 19-30 the work of local woodcarvers will be featured. And through demonstrations visitors will be able to view firsthand the intricate process of creating a beautiful work of art out of a piece of wood
