A 7-year-old Kentucky girl visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park suffered injuries after falling 30 feet from the top of Cataract Falls, according to a National Park Service spokesman.
The girl, whose name was unavailable, climbed to the top of the falls, not far from park headquarters at the Sugarlands Visitors Center, about 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
